Our fundraising teams typically work a 35 hour week across 5 days (Monday to Friday). Although not mandatory our fundraisers can opt to work extra hours in order to generate a higher number of donors for our amazing charity partners.
Typically between 15 and 20 covering the majority of England, Scotland and Wales. Each team is allocated their own team house that is provided free of charge,
Yes. All fundraisers are employed on a full time basis by Wesser Limited. This means that every fundraiser benefits from an excellent pay structure and will accrue up to 20 days paid holiday per year plus bank holidays.
Wesser operates 2 training venues. One at our head office in Letchworth, Hertforshire and another in Leeds, South Yorkshire. Prior to being placed in a full time team you will be required to attend training at one of these locations. Travel, food and accommodation during training is fully funded by Wesser.
Yes. All of our senior staff started at Wesser as fundraisers. We are always looking for talented individuals to become team leaders, fundraising coordinators and coaches. There is also the opportunity to move into different departments to further develop your skill set.
In order to become a Wesser fundraiser you must be at least 18 years of age.
All of our fundraisers are paid an hourly rate starting at £8.00 Per Hour. In addition to this hourly rate is an excellent bonus structure with on target earnings in excess of £1500.00 per month.
Yes. As part of our commitment to students and those who need seasonal work we can offer short term placements starting from 6 weeks.
Yes. All of our fundraisers are provided with attainable short term targets based on the number of supporters required for the fundraising campaign. This will be explained in detail at your interview.
As you will be living away from home we ensure that our team houses are of a high standard. Each property is privately let by Wesser and will have 4 to 6 bedrooms, large living areas and be fully furnished.
Yes. To ensure you are instantly identifiable as a charity representative you will be provided with T-shirts, body warmers and jackets with the logos of our charity partner. You will also have an ID badge that must be worn at all times when fundraising.
To transport you to your fundraising area Wesser provides fully maintained vehicles that are typically less than 3 years old.
Yes. Once you have been fundraiser with Wesser for a minimum of 6 weeks you are more than welcome to return to us in your holidays. This also applies to those looking to take gap years or travel in-between working as a fundraiser.
