Careers in telephone fundraising
As a telephone fundraiser you can make an immedinate difference to any charity, winning between £100 and £200 in new donations every hour.
There are targets that you will need to achieve and the focus is placed upon the number of supporters won as a percentage of people spoken to and also the value of the donations that the supporter agrees to give. We also focus strongly upon supporter retention, it is our aim to encourage long term support for our charity partners and not one-off donations.
You will commence on a training fee of £5.93 per hour (plus commission) increasing to £6.25 per hour (plus commission) after successful completion of your training period, We ask for a minimum contract of 15 hours per week (3 shifts) and only permit a maximum of 25 hours per week (5 shifts). Our shifts operate between 10.30am and 3.30pm, and again from 4.00pm until 9.00pm on weekdays, and from 10.00am until 3.00pm on Saturdays. A 20 minute paid break is included in our shift patterns.
