In a recent edition of Wesser World Magazine, Student Ambassador Nikita Trehan reviewed her role as a student ambassador after spending summer 2017 as a Wesser charity fundraiser:
I worked as a fundraiser in the south last summer. I had the most amazing time meeting a range of different people in the team and on the doors. Fundraising for charities was something I had done previously but never found it as enjoyable until I joined Wesser.
Now I am at University I’ve obtained a different position as a Student Ambassador in the North. I help to recruit people to be fundraisers; it is a really relaxed job that fits perfectly around my academic and personal life. I love what I do. Wesser has enhanced my abilities by providing me with some great transferable key skills that I have used in all aspects of my life. Working with Wesser is more than just a paying job; they support you as an individual and give you a sense of being part of a large family. This is an incredibly rewarding job that leaves you feeling spectacular after each day of work.
Thanks to Nikita Trehan and Michelle Amos (Wesser World Editor)
